ZM at work on site

Trained as an architect, Zain Mustafa loves rolling up his sleeves and getting down and dirty with his on site team of craftsmen to ensure the correct design detailing.

Seen here ZM is working on the babbling brook/stream/water feature floor for the gardens entrance to a Karachi Spa ''Amethyst'' inspired by The Lady of Shalott - an 1888 oil-on-canvas painting by the English Pre-Raphaelite painter John William Waterhouse.

Living Interiors

As most interior design magazines show spaces without humans in them they have a tendency to lack scale and warmth. One rarely gets a sense of how that space might be when used. They are homes many times not furniture showrooms and need to be comfortable and SEXY...Heres a few images of model Zyshan in Zain Mustafa's residence...

Zain Mustafa's Karachi Residence

Zain Mustafa moved into his childhood home summer 2011. It was designed by Aqeel Bilgrami in 1975. Bilgrami's first house. After 26 odd years ZM is back in it. The space has been re imagined to suit the designers present hectic lifestyle needs. It is the most experimental and whimsical of all his homes so far.
