Zain Mustafa's Karachi Residence

Zain Mustafa moved into his childhood home summer 2011. It was designed by Aqeel Bilgrami in 1975. Bilgrami's first house. After 26 odd years ZM is back in it. The space has been re imagined to suit the designers present hectic lifestyle needs. It is the most experimental and whimsical of all his homes so far.

IVSAA Interior Design Thesis jury 2011 (semester's professor: me)

November 23, 2011 saw the culmination of 4 months of advising for this passionate, devoted, design work produced by 5 graduating interior design students. It was a hugely successful day with enormous bodies of work shown. A diverse set of projects, super concepts, an impressive presentation and an excellent jury. 


The external jurors who kindly took the day out to spend with us were: Naheed Mashooqullah, Tariq Alexander Qaiser and Omar Kasmani. Thanks to all of them for very vibrant, engaging, supportive, constructive and educational discussions with all the students.


Wishing this batch all the best as they spread their wings and fly into their future careers.
