ZAIN MUSTAFA is a design firm based in Dubai & Karachi, with the vision for and synergy with the region like none other.

We are inspired by the philosophy and verve that defines the Dubai of today – in that sense, we espouse a Dubai-centric design aesthetic. Our work is forward-thinking and pushes the boundaries and perceived notions of interior spaces. We pride ourselves on being more than just decorators and view interior design as more than just an investment in the façade. We pride ourselves on being able to think outside of the box, going beyond the strictures of design norms but remaining true to the principle of creativity.

Our primary goal with any project, no matter how big or small, is to create avenues for experiences. A home, an office and a private jet are all spaces that blossom over time to reveal new observations. As the spaces take on the shape of the person for whom they are created, they unravel gradually to reveal detail and subtlety. 


These experiences are carved of light and materials in an unexpected, cohesive, balanced and harmonious collection of objects and surfaces, with the proviso of forming individual and collective memories that become conversation pieces. Even as our spaces support life they take on a life of their own, growing through the experiences they create. These interactive spaces are inspired and derived from the ZAIN MUSTAFA design team's eclectic backgrounds, diverse education and myriad cultural accents.

We believe that a space is only complete if it can evoke an emotional and sensual conversation between itself and its user – sometimes dramatic sometimes gentle, but always unique.

Our goal is to work especially with imaginative, ambitious clients who are willing to do just about anything to make their environment a comprehensive expression of themselves, whether individual or corporation. In turn, as a team, we work to create designs that are a true reflection of our clients rather than an expression or extension of ourselves. Consequently, the arena we perform in is a broad one – hospitality, F&B, corporate, commercial, residential and retail.

To achieve this, we go beyond the boundaries of the applied arts side of interior design to create by extending our team's extensive academic and practical experience into perennial yet cutting-edge work.
